Features in the voice menu

You can control the voice menu by swiping left and right on the WeWALK touchpad. You can use WeWALK’s features such as obstacle detection distance, nearby stops, volume level, LED light and find my phone through the voice menu. To enter or select a setting, double tap the touchpad again. To go back or exit the voice menu, swipe the touchpad forward (swipe away from you and towards the ground).

Nearby stops:

1. Double tap to activate the feature.

2. View the names of the closest stops and their distance to you with a swipe from left to right.

3. If you are at the stop you want to be, select “I am here”. If you are away from the stop, you can navigate to the stop by tapping ‘Go Here’.

4. When you arrive at the stop or select ‘I am here’ you can view the line number, line name, and estimated arrival time of all the buses passing by that stop.

5. You can switch between buses with a swipe from left to right with one finger.

6. You can refresh the bus arrival times by going to the top and clicking the Refresh button.

Obstacle Detection Distance:

1. Double tap to activate the feature.

2. Find the obstacle detection distance that best suits your walking style by swiping one finger from left to right or vice versa.

3. Double tap to choose the desired setting.

Find My Phone:

This option allows you to play a sound from your phone to find your phone. Activate by double-tapping on the option.

Volume Level

1. Double tap to activate the feature.

2. Find the desired level of volume by swiping one finger from left to right or vice versa.

3. Double tap to choose the desired volume level.

Turn on the LED light:

Double tap to turn on or off WeWALK’s LED light.
