At WeWALK Technology, we are aiming to create a success story that will come out of Turkey and spread to the rest of the world.

With our dedicated team in our Istanbul and London offices, we are committed to developing technologies for the full and equal participation of more than 250 million visually impaired people worldwide in social life.

In line with our mission and goals, we had a great year in 2019. We launched the WeWALK Smart cane in June 2019 and it has been shipped to visually impaired people in more than 20 countries so far.

We’re using cutting-edge technology to make it easier for visually impaired people to navigate complicated terrains. WeWALK Smart cane detects obstacles in front of the visually impaired and warns them in addition to providing GPS navigation. moreover, it gains new features every day with software updates.

• WeWALK was selected as one of the best inventions of 2019 by Time Magazine.
• The story of WeWALK was covered by more than a thousand news outlets including CNN, BBC and Forbes in 30 different languages in the news.
• We were selected for the Microsoft AI for the good program in the UK. Here is what the UK Microsoft CEO Cindy Rose said about WeWALK.

In order to further develop our technology, while we continue our partnership with Vestel, we are also building more cooperation with institutions such as Microsoft and Google. In this context, we have collaborated with Imperial College London, which is among the top 10 universities in the world, for our R&D Activities.
